1. What AfterCrash is
AfterCrash is a consumer self-help and organization tool for drivers. It helps you store insurance cards, save policy documents, capture pre-loss vehicle condition, document incidents, follow guided recovery steps, prep for adjuster calls, and generate template letters.
AfterCrash is not a law firm, an insurance company, a public adjuster, or a medical provider, and it does not represent you in any claim, lawsuit, or negotiation.
2. Account use
You must be 18+ to create an account. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity under your account.
One account per person. Don't share your login. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
3. User responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter (claim numbers, policy details, dates, photos, witness info).
- You remain responsible for confirming coverage, deadlines, and obligations directly with your insurance company.
- You are responsible for following the law where you live and drive.
4. No guarantee of claim outcome
Nothing in AfterCrash guarantees that an insurance claim will be paid, paid faster, or paid in any specific amount. Outcomes depend on your policy, the facts of your loss, applicable law, and the carrier's discretion.
5. No attorney-client relationship
Using AfterCrash, reading rights explanations, generating advocate letters, or chatting with our assistant does not create an attorney-client relationship. AfterCrash does not provide legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for legal questions.
6. No insurance-agent relationship
AfterCrash does not sell insurance, bind coverage, file claims on your behalf, or negotiate settlements as a licensed agent or public adjuster. Plain-English explanations of policy concepts are educational only.
7. Uploaded document ownership
You own everything you upload. You grant AfterCrash a limited license to host, process, and display your content for the purpose of providing the service to you (including AI summarization of policy documents you upload). You can delete your content at any time — see the Delete My Data page.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use AfterCrash to:
- Upload content you don't have the right to share.
- Submit fraudulent insurance claims or supporting evidence.
- Impersonate someone else, including another driver or witness.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attack the service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfterCrash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including denied claims, lowball offers, missed deadlines, or any decision you make based on app guidance.
10. Subscription and payment terms
AfterCrash is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show pricing, billing terms, and renewal terms before you subscribe. Paid features are governed by the plan terms displayed at checkout.
11. Cancellation and refund policy
You can cancel any paid plan at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds, if any, will be described in the plan terms at the time of purchase.
12. Dispute resolution
Most issues can be resolved by emailing support. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, both parties agree to binding individual arbitration, except for small-claims court matters and intellectual-property disputes. You waive the right to participate in a class action.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless a different jurisdiction is required by your local consumer-protection laws.
14. App availability and feature changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may pause or end the service. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid plans.
